We used to be able to delete items in the batch that we did not want to go to AP and they would be removed from the batch and from the inbox.
Now those items go back into the inbox to “help” us not miss something.
We get many statements, packing slips and material management things that cannot go through AP to our AP email.
Right now we just click all emails in the inbox to process into the batch. Quickly. No need to critique the emails.
Then if we come across junk emails or things that don’t go to AP as an invoice we delete them in batch and all is well.
Now with this new flow, we have to delete from the batch THEN it goes back into the inbox THEN we have to delete again.
Why not just have an audit log of what user deleted something and let the AP person be the truth?
What are your thoughts on the new work flow? Is this what all your other customers are asking for?
